OUR PHILOSOPHY
The primary goal of the Beckman Boys Lacrosse Program is to develop student-athletes’ character and integrity, fostering positive contributions to both the school community and society at large. We believe that the following objectives will best support this mission:
- Promote Sportsmanship: Encourage respectful competition and teamwork, teaching athletes to honor their opponents and officials.
- Cultivate Leadership Skills: Provide opportunities for players to lead by example, fostering responsibility and accountability both on and off the field.
- Encourage Academic Excellence: Support student-athletes in maintaining strong academic performance, emphasizing the importance of balancing athletics with education.
- Foster Community Engagement: Involve players in community service projects, highlighting the importance of giving back and being active participants in society.
- Develop Life Skills: Teach resilience, discipline, and time management, preparing athletes for success beyond lacrosse.
